Paying for college

We’re all on the same page — college should be affordable.

That’s why we make sure you have access to the resources you need to pay for college. Our goal is to make sure all qualified applicants can invest in an education at VCU.

The Student Financial Management Center (SFMC) serves as a central hub for financial outreach, literacy and management to students and families. Financial counselors provide a personalized experience on matters concerning financial wellness, debt management, budgeting and planning for the future.

To estimate your cost of attendance, use our tuition and fees calculator. To see the payoff of attending VCU, visit our "After VCU" page. Hint: 74 percent of graduates are employed or enrolled in grad school within six months.

VCU provided me with scholarships, grants and work-study funds — and also connected me with internships and jobs that helped me pay for college. I will graduate with minimal loans.
